Drunkards and Defectors

Getting ready. May 3 seems so far away. I have less than two weeks to wrap up my painting, frame, wire, pack and ship my paintings and 3-dimensional sculptures for my first exhibition in quite some time.

Drunkards and Defectors

This is the postcard for our joint exhibit in May. We each will have at least 25 works on display.

The bulk of my show will be my American Bar series, all new and never before shown paintings.

I also will have my Desert Detritus clocks in the show, and possibly some purely abstract pieces.

Winter in Apache Junction is a bust time of year.  Lost Dutchman Days, the Rodeo, the Renaissance Festival, hiking while the weather is amenable…

I am still painting, getting ready for my exhibit in May at Gallery 50 in Bridgeton, NJ.  Today I ordered frames for the newest paintings, almost finished.

And locally, there is an exhibit of Found Object art.  I entered four found object sculptures to be juried in.  Hopefully they accept one of them. Continue reading “Exhibitionism”
