Getting ready. May 3 seems so far away. I have less than two weeks to wrap up my painting, frame, wire, pack and ship my paintings and 3-dimensional sculptures for my first exhibition in quite some time.
The postcard has been finalized and approved. It will be good to get back to New Jersey for a few days, if only because I know it is only for a few days.
We leave Arizona on May 2. We plan to hit Larry’s Bar that night.
May 3 is the opening reception. Normally the artists are expected to bring a covered dish of hor d’oeuvres. I guess we will stop at Wawa and pick up an Entenmanns.
After the reception we are heading to Sidelines. Ted offered to sponsor our show, but Tim and Leslie Shannon, and Rob Shannon beat him to the punch.
Saturday night we will head to Bojo’s. Sometimes in between the bar visits we will drop by and see Pat Witt at the Barn Studio of Art. It is only appropriate; the Barn is where Liz and I met. Full circle.
