The Royal Tavern
A little hipster joint on Passyunk Ave. in South Philly, The Royal had a friendly attitude, even towards non-hipsters such as myself.
The Royal has more than just PBR in a can. I never understood what was so hip about drinking nasty-ass cheap beer. I guess it leaves them more money to spend on their funky hats.
Just a block from the DaVinci Art Alliance, anytime we had an exhibition we found a chance to sneak off to the Royal fr a few beers.
