The Smallest Bar in Key West

The Smallest Bar

oil on canvas

The Smallest Bar in Key West is a garage on Duval St.

I like the place because it is so small, you cannot but help to get in conversations with others. I always meet people from other countries. Even with language barriers we have great conversations.

They have hula hoops behind the bar, and it is great when the girls go out to the street and hula hoop.

This painting will be in my show next May at Gallery 50 in Bridgeton, NJ. It will be good to hook up with old friends back East. I hope the show will pay for itself.

I have several paintings still in my head, paintings for this exhibit. Pretty soon the temps here will be bearable, and I will be able to get into the studio and paint again.
