Merry Christmas

Our house, decorated for Christmas

Where in the hell did the year go? It will be 2020 in a little over a week.

It has been an eventful year. Last spring, Liz and I had a two-person show at Gallery 50 in Bridgeton, NJ.

It was great to be back in Millville for a weekend, to see old friends, and to sell some paintings. We both have gotten back into the studio. Liz has been accepted into several local exhibits and we are making friends in the local art community. Continue reading “Merry Christmas”

Superstition Postcards

Superstition PostcardA few years ago I attended the art and antiques festival in Superior, AZ. One of the booths featured thousands of vintage postcards.

Liz and I spent well over an hour scouring the collection, and pulled out every postcard of the Superstition Mountains and wilderness. We donated the postcards to the Superstition Mountain Museum, but not before I made high resolution scans.

I have reproduced these postcards and they are available for purchase. The postcards are 5″x7″, on heavy card stock, and have a UV gloss coating on the front.

The images displayed are 13 of the 17 cards total. The complete package of 17 cards sells for $20. The postcards date from the 1940’s through the 1950’s.
