God Doesn’t Live in Houses Built by Man
Found Object Assemblage – $200
I have two assemblage pieces in a juried group show at First Studio Gallery, 631 N 1st Ave, Phoenix, AZ.
The exhibit runs from September 25 through November 27, 2021.
ARTIST RECEPTIONS:
October 1st, October 15th, November 5th, and November 19th , 6-9pm.
They had over 100 artists submit work, with room for only 70 pieces. I feel fortunate that they selected two of mine for this show, which I feel is going to be outstanding.
“New Religion” is the other piece that was chosen for this exhibit.
Often, my found object pieces exhibit a pessimism and skepticism on what are perceived to be values in our modern world. But also buried in the message is a mild hope that we own our destiny and can move forward to create a new positive worldview.
